Coronavirus Antibody Testing

Am I a good candidate for testing?

All interested persons who have neither felt feverish in the last 3 days nor experienced any other COVID-19 symptoms such as loss of smell or taste, shortness of breath, dry cough, feeling weak or lethargic, lightheadedness or dizziness, vomiting or diarrhea, slurred speech, and/or seizures in the past 10 days are appropriate candidates for obtaining this test. To protect laboratory collection site staff, please remember to wear either a face mask or some other form of face covering, like a scarf, when arriving at the laboratory collection site.

Is this covered by insurance?

Yes, we accept all major insurances, so you will likely be covered but it’s always best to call us to check eligibility. We also accept credit and debit card payments, as well as cash payments.

Can my child get tested?

Yes. As long as the child's legal guardian provides consent, the child can get tested.

How do I get my results?

We will call you when your results are ready. You will also receive an email notification with instructions to access our HIPAA-compliant secure messaging portal to obtain a copy of your results.

How soon do I get my results?

In most cases, results will be available within 24 hours of the test. In rare cases, due to increased demand, resulting may take up to 2 days.

Is this test done through a swab or blood collection?

This test requires a blood draw collection from the arm to detect COVID-19 IgG antibodies in the blood.
